ISR Instrument Signup (LANL Only)

 

 Lasers: Femtosecond to steady-state illumination from the UV into the mid infrared.

 Microscopy: Two all reflective IR and two refractive confocal Raman/Fluorescence. Single element and array detection: MCT, InSb (IR) and CCD (Vis). Diffraction limited spatial resolution.

 Raman Spectroscopy: Triple, double and single-stage spectrometers emphasizing response from 200 - 1000 nm. CCD detection.

 Luminescence: Conventional fluorescence and phosphorimetry (> 40 msec lifetimes).

 Absorption Spectroscopy: Conventional (UV to IR), Time-resolved (fs, ps, and longer), Stopped-Flow, Reflectance, Circular Dichroism, Photoacoustic.

 IR Spectroscopy: Varied ranges from less than 10 cm-1 to the NIR, Time-resolved (Ps and above), Sensitive difference methods, Temperature and Pressure Control, Step Scan.

 Other Instrumentation and Capabilities: Solution X-ray Scattering, Electron Paramagnetic Resonance, Voltammetry and Amperometry, Helium Cryostats, Glove Boxes, 125 linear feet of bench space with three 8' hoods, Wet chemistry facilities for sample preparation of Uranium and (with permits) transuranics.
